undo machine live demo v2

video upload by aural explorations

"Undo Machine is out: https://undomachine.com

I built a small macOS app to solve something that had been bugging me for a while: capturing my current sound, freely changing it, then returning to where I started.

I’ve come to love that kind of workflow on the Torso S-4 and T-1. It’s useful for sound design and live performance, so I wanted to bring it to my Analog Four and Novation Peak.

This video shows Capture, Undo, Return and Morph in action. Undo Machine currently supports Novation Peak, Analog Four MKII, Bitwig Studio and Ableton Live and can be controlled by any Midi capable device.

Want this for your instrument too? Download Undo Machine and run the guided device test. Your results can help me investigate whether support is possible.

Available for macOS on Apple Silicon, with a 14-day trial."

"What does it do?

Imagine you could freeze the state of your entire hardware or hybrid setup while performing, creating or producing—then explore, mutate, distort and intensify your sound, knowing you can always return to your baseline at the push of a button or smoothly morph back with a fader.
That’s Undo Machine."

MakeNoise Records & Richard Devine's Latest EP "Creature"

"Tony Rolando from Make Noise Co. and Surachai have been planning for the past several months and the result is a record label called Make Noise Records and the initial series to be released is called Shared System. Tony has put together a self-contained modular synthesizer system composed of Make Noise modules and Surachai is curating the series. The selected artists are given one rule: think inside the box.

Shared System Records has 5 artists lined up and all their recordings will be released on separate limited edition 7″ vinyl releases accompanied by an exclusive download card that grants access to extended aural explorations. We are releasing one 7″ at a time and Richard Devine will be our first offering.

Richard Devine's new EP entitled "Creature" will be the first released on limited edition clear 7" vinyl.

Stay tuned for more information…"
