"This is one of the few and working EMS Polysynthi, produced between the '78 and 79 in ONLY 29 exemplars. As far I know the last Peter Zinovieff work.
Space look... totally amazing, its sound is magic!
It's fully polyphonic with built in analog delay and chorus (both CV/keyboard touch controllable) Two cv-lfo's with many combinations, modulable also from keyboard aftertouch, filter is very very nice selectable from 2 to 4 poles, envelope follower for external signals and many other features.
For me is one of the best polyphonic synthesizers ever made with unique sound and an incredible look.
This is a small space sounds demo with both the enevelopes auto triggered from one cvlfo."

"Legendary and Rare Synthesizer from the Golden Age of Electronic Music.

This Machine is absolutely Unique and it's Sound opens up completely New Worlds.

It practically is a Hybrid between an Analog drum Module and an ultra Fat Analog Synth, oh !! not just one Synth it is actually 4 synths in one machine. the Unit has a very Unique sound due to the wide range of it's LFO's frequency range and sweap characteristics. Each of the 4 synths can be modelled individually and one can create new an before unheard Sounds. The 4 synths can be triggered either by an electric Signal or thru conventional Sound. One can connect it to an Analog Drummachine or to a Drumpad which was the initial Intention of the Japanese Manufacturer.

The sound is put simply just Fat. It generates Deep Base Sounds and high Sweeps and everything in between with an incredible Dynamic as the Sounds take a Life on their own while the rhythms develop and the synths Modulate.

A complete collection of a trio set from '72 still with two original boxes (Muse and Amplifier), manuals, cards and...the old warranty papers ;-) ALL is perfect working and lighting... visual condition as new! The Triadex Muse is the first digital musical instrument and was produced in 1972. It was designed by Edward Fredkin and Marvin Minsky, the creator of the alien 'MONOLITH' in 2001 SPACE ODYSSEY, friend & collaborator of Stanley Kubrick. Marvin Minsky has made many contributions to AI, cognitive psychology, mathematics, computational linguistics, robotics, and optics. In recent years he has worked chiefly on imparting to machines the human capacity for commonsense reasoning. His conception of human intellectual structure and function is presented in The Society of Mind (1987), which is also the title of the course he teaches at MIT. The Triadex Muse it's an algorithmic music generator: it uses digital logic circuits to produce a sequence of notes based on the settings of various parameters. It has four small sliders that control Volume, Tempo, Pitch, and Fine Pitch. It is not known how many were made, but they are considered extremely rare. For years, the Muse was a featured exhibit at the Museum of Science, Boston. The signage explained the device's algorithmic (and deterministic) approach to the creation of its seemingly-random music. Far from being random, its preset 'song' played continuously -- and was even given a name, 'Museum Musings,' by the staff.
