ALONE IN SPACE | Novation MININOVA Synthesizer | Sci-Fi Ambient Music | Synthwave Chill Out

video upload by Ambient Shrine

"For this soundtrack, I pulled out my Novation Mininova synthesizer and recorded 12 stereo tracks of ambient improvisations, which I mixed into an hour block. All sounds are exclusively from Mininova plus delays and reverbs applied in my DAW."

00:00 - Journey begins
03:56 - Cosmic arpeggios
10:00 - The mind escapes
17:20 - Dark thoughts
19:20 - Can't hear me??
23:00 - Journey continues
28:38 - Returning arpeggios
33:40 - The mind escapes reprise
40:50 - Dark thoughts are back
43:00 - Industrial loneliness & radio
50:38 - Farewell to the stars

'You are in a damaged capsule, part of a space station on the moon. After an accident that caused part of the station to be destroyed, you are the only survivor. Alone, with a limited supply of oxygen, enough for a few hours. You can't change it, you can't influence it. But you don't want to think about what comes next, about the inevitable. You are not worried, you are not afraid of death. You knew what the risk was. Now is the time for contemplation. Memories, thoughts, long-postponed things with which you were not at peace, which are dormant inside you, surfaced. It's ironic that in order to spend honest time with yourself, you needed to be alone in space...'

Enjoy your precious time in space.

Thank you for watching & listening."

Dark Souls - Firelink Shrine (Korg Minilogue, Volca FM)

video by SyllixMusic

"Hello! Here's my synth cover of Dark Souls - Firelink Shrine played on the Korg Minilogue and the Volca FM. I really love the dark, ambient nature of this song and felt it would be a perfect fit for me to cover. The minilogue handles the ambient pads while the Volca FM plays the role of the harp. I absolutely love the second half of this song and the Volca FM handles it beautifully - I am really happy with the tone and how it turned out.

The cover is very true to the original song, with some minor differences I added for my own personal preference. I hope you enjoy it!"
