Two More Modules

YouTube via dkimcg
"I got these two Harvestman modules today, the Pokivoks VCF and the Tyme Sefari with the Sound of Thunder expander. I'm still learning how to use them. The filter sounds beautiful, and is pretty cool that you can mix two signals in. It sounds very CCCP.

The Tyme Sefari, I have to do some experiments with a bigger time scale to see how long a sample it can play back, and some VC experiments too. This is pretty much my first patch after figuring out the basics of the Tyme Sefari.

M28, M17, M10, and the Paia timing and making gates and triggers. M15s, Ring mod, wave shaping, etc. mostly to end up barely audible. I want to get my patches leaner so I don't suck so bad and keep using up cables I don't need to."

"The last video we did in my current AtmoSphere studio. It shows the back of my racks and also more of the synthesizers in the back of my studio."

Reactable en CampusParty Valencia 2008

YouTube via criadobot
"The reacTable in campusbot, campusparty, Valencia 2008 specifications, collaborative electronic musical instrument with a tangible interface based on a table, and inspired by modular synthesizers of the sixties. It was developed by the Music Technology Group at the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, a research team composed of Sergi Jordà, Marcos Alonso, Günter Geiger and Martin Kaltenbrunner. Multiple simultaneous users share total control over the instrument by moving and rotating physical objects on the surface of a bright circular table. Manipulating these objects, representatives of the classical components of a modular synthesizer, users can create complex and dynamic sound typologies, generators, filters and modulators, in a kind of tangible modular synthesizer. There are only 5 reacTable, which included it was sold to Icelandic singer Bjork."

Messing around with old PAIA, Doepfer and Mobius

YouTube via pristak777
"Messing around with my finally integrated Eurorack modular and Paia 2700/4700 using the Mobius sequencer. Paia oscillators, filters, and vca's. Doepfer mixer and envelope generator. Livewire Vulcan modulating one filter. PAIA lfo the other. The two oscillators are out of tune at first, but they are mostly brought into tune after a little bit of adjustment from the transposer module."

HarriL - Temporary Patten(Live)

video upload by HarriL

"This is most likely the fastest tracks I've made for a video. The time it took to make this was about an hour. Evolver sequenced from the EMX, Revolution through ESX's effects.

Nothing much to say, it's a chill track made just because I've had such a long pause in uploading anything new. I'm still making new stuff, but never really got around recording them into a full track.

I just might do a video of a selection of unfinished patterns that I have made during the years."

The Amazing Klee Sequencer 1

YouTube via sduck409
"Here's a short demonstration of some of the features of this new sequencer. I'm controlling 3 voices with it - all MOTM 300 vco's through various filters and vcas. All in real time with no input from other sources. The sound quality's not the greatest - just using the camera mike - I had the monitors up pretty loud but the sequencer was closer so there's still sound from the switches. You can find out more about this sequencer at electro-music.com - go to the forums, and look for the klee section in the diy area."
