303 Pocket Noise

"Amidio Inc. will release 303 Pocket Noise (name could change in future)

-pattern 303 Emulator
+ Based on Noise.io's Pro Engine
+ 2 waveforms - saw, square
+ 4 Patterns with realtime pattern sequence programming
+ Realtime pattern editing (on loop)
+ Auto-save on quit
+ Slides, 3 octaves
+ Very simple interface: just 2 screens.
+ Modulation surface like in Noise.io Pro
+ swingy BPM
+ effects: delay, distortion
+ .wav export via built-in server (no additional programs needed)
+ direct beatmaker export (hopefully).

We need this app to be a testing playground for new features and if the features prove itself, they will be expanded quickly into Noise.io Pro.

Noise.io Pro will always remain the flagship product and will contain all the features found in smaller products.

303 Pocket Noise will be priced at $0.99 or at $1.99.

Planned date of release: middle or late December 2008."
In the mean time, you can find Noise.io here:

"I sold my Juno6 on eBay, I'll be sad to see it go as it was my first hardware synthesizer. But hey! At least I have the funds to buy a 106 now :D"

Jomox XBase999 and M-Resonator

YouTube via bigcitymusic
"Here's a simple beat from the monsterous analog Jomox Xbase999. We're processing it with the Jomox M-Resonator Analog Filter Machine. The M-Resonator has two analog resonant low pass filters interwoven into a feedback matrix that has an envelope section as well. This box is capable of a wide variety of tones. From subtle filter sweeps to extreme feedback, the M-Resonator is a unique piece."

Infection Music Zeit Sequencer

via this auction

"Incredibly uncommon, very deep sequencer from Infection Music purchased from Analog Haven in California. First owner, studio use only.

There is a ton of information but also a lot of mystery around this unit due to the small manufacture (I am told they number in the single digits...). http://www.infectionmusic.com/ is the manufacturer web site and gives up the goods far better than I can in the space here. It is a fully featured MIDI sequencer designed with a thoughtful awareness of the sorts of trickier things used in the old school analog modulars, excels in the tangerine dream and kraftwerk vibes but of course useful across all genres, effective with anything that can talk MIDI (even, of course, soft synths)."

Note the Owner's Manual. Anyone know if it's a binder, box or other?
Update: It's a binder per the comments of this post. There are some warnings there as well.

"Cray on Buchla 200e vs Abre Ojos on custom Euro modular, live improv at Make It Up Club 25th Nov 2008 Melbourne Australia.

Not a lot to see as it was shot with a HV20 on a stationary tripod. Sound recorded straight off the mixer by Stephen Richards via an Indigo card & Powerbook in Ableton Live.

Head on over to:
