"This is an overview of the SP-808ex synth fx engine where I play a few patches and talk about the synthesizer editing capabilities. I think the synth engine itself sounds very good and can add a special touch to your mix even when its only monosynth. When you are using the synth engine, make sure you have your midi controller set to ch. 11 and that effects are turned on. If the patch uses the d-beam, then turn on the appropriate button near the d-beam. Press FX INFO or Shift-FX Info to get into the editing features, and use the appropriate knobs for live tweaking.

The SP-808ex has something for everybody. Check out my tutorial on using its vocoder."

"Extremly rare BUCHLA electric music box series 500 modules. ....only 3 exemplars ever made in the world!!! The cv interface module need of PSU and maybe the computer facilities directed to the series 500 computer system... I'm convinced that the joysticks and trigger, control voltages module can drive other modular systems with a right psu of course, they have a Cinch Jones plug for Power Supply and a pair of facilities connectors in the rear part. I don't know the right voltage that they need, I haven't any schematics.. I bought them for collection but ..I think they need of a new home with other Buchla brothers ;-) Amazing: the two devices!"
joysticks are photosensitive built with optoisolators ..so the sticks are luminescent...a primitive but charming

ROLAND VP-330 vocoder plus MK1

"ROLAND VP-330 vocoder plus MK1 from '70 years, EXTREMLY rare and in MINT conditions with a cool MIDI Kenton modification inside... the MIDI upgrade was very expensive: 470 gpb plus + professional installation service costs. Working status is perfect!

The VP-330 found favor with many key players and is especially prominent in Laurie Anderson’s “O Superman (For Massenet)” on Big Science... also was used by William Ørbit, BT, Styx, Kitaro, Underworld, Meat Beat Manifesto, Überzone, Air, Royksopp, Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, and many more. The VP-330 has a choir and string systesizer sections which can be mixed with the vocoder! You can mix any line signal also with an external input or.. you can play it also as a classic string machine. The vocoder shapes its envelope and filters by any sound source fed into it, your voice or even a drum loop can be used which is then applied to another sound source, typically a synth pad. This creates a very unique and famous robot-like sound, I think THE BEST VOCODER-STRING-HUMAN VOICE EVER!!
