KORG Electribe ESX-1 Cake

"Korg Electribe ESX-1 cake for my friend Loz's birthday. It's basically a printed icing sheet atop a two layer sponge with marshmallows for the pots. Final construction was a bit rushed - the valves are represented by candles to be surrounded by orange jelly/jello but I didn't leave enough time to have that set. I also put a bit too much glycerin in the fondant so it melted somewhat. The rear is a bit of a bodge too with a bad colour match to the printed icing, but overall I think it came out OK."

"This appears to be the first Death By Audio Robot sold. The original version, same as the model used by Trent Reznor.

Includes a photo eye and other features not available on the current production model of the Robot.

The robot uses the same pitch-shifting chip as those children's toys that emulate godzilla, robots and the like. death by audio mix that with some wicked distortion to get the insane sound of the robot. it has a light sensor and vibrato. it's very cool and lo-fi, perfect for synth sound effects."
