korg ds-10 track 69 (melodic electronica) by Ugo Capeto
YouTube Uploaded by korgds10 on Sep 24, 2011
"Made 100% on the Nintendo Korg DS-10 synthesize/sequencer, a recreation of the famed Korg MS-10 on the NDS. This is a downtempo chill melodic electronica tune, none of that dubstep nonsense. Visit http://korgds-10.blogspot.com for more electronica tunes made on the Korg DS-10 (the original, not the Korg DS-10 plus)."

SEMTEX XL
via this auction
"Semtex is inspired by Oberheim SEM, but modular and extremely expanded. Voltage controlled morphing Filter. Midi can control up to 6 parameters and 6 trigger/gates, cascade up to 4 for polyphony
DETAILS the filter morph can be controlled manually or by control voltage, it morphs from LPF to notch to HPF, another knob mixes it all with BPF. The LFOs and ENVs are very flexible and can be set to 3 positions in speed from very slow to very fast (really fast!), the waveforms of the LFO can all be set in symmetry and LFO1 can be controlled by voltage (speed). it's fully modular but prepatched as long as there is no patch cord in it..
SOUND very percussive sounds, pads, leads, basses, experimental
VERSION atm there is a Rack Version and the desktop (XL), identical. there was a smaller model "S" for modular use without LFOs and ENVs.."

Roland TR-808 High Pitch Snare Drum
YouTube Uploaded by intromix on Sep 23, 2011
"Here is a comparison between two Roland TR-808 Drum machines. The first one is a demonstration of a later production 808 with the "average snare" sound. The second 808 is the one I currently own and is an earlier produced 808 with the High Pitch Snare Drum that alot of 808 pioneers are hunting for. I love all the sounds in this one compared to the first 808 I owned, the ONLY downfall in the 808 with the high pitch snare is the 3 Cymbals, they sound nowhere near as bright and clean as the first 808 I owned with the average pitch snare drum."
