"extremely rare Synton Fenix analog modular synthesizer, hand built in 1997-98 in the Netherlands. This unit is one of 75 ever produced! The Fenix is a highly sought after analog modular popularized by Aphex Twin on his Analord albums (see video below for an example). I've owned this Fenix for nearly a decade, after trading for it with a respected member of the Analogue Heaven mailing list. The Fenix is a truly unique instrument, and I wish I were able to keep it.
The following items are included in the auction:
Synton Fenix analog modular synthesizer
Primary power supply with a converter for U.S. power outlets
Secondary power supply
Extra back panel with power chassis - should anything ever happen to the original power chassis, you have a backup!
"HI :) This D-50 patch demo features a famous preset "Fantasia". I have edited this patch so that the pcm is actually tuned to the other partials and I edited the TVA to have an increased release time. Jupiter-8 arp is added and Juno-1 bass patch is added to create an 80s theme. Other than the modified TVA and the pcm tuning, the patch is the original preset.

"Here's my recreation of 'Make Love' By Daft Punk. This song features a piano sound I made on DS-10. I also tried my hand at making vocals for the song using formant synthesis on the DS-10. I suppose the words 'make love' were pronounced pretty well. Please enjoy! =)

Schematics are the functional diagram of electronic circuits. With so many designs available on the web, understanding how to read schematics can unlock a world of possibilities for the electronics maker. In fact, if you can read a schematic, you can build a circuit before even understanding how it works!"

"He has been using the MOTIF including all series for 10 years.
He is mainly interested in the clavinet sounds and organ sounds.
" Well I've been there since the beginning of the MOTIF. It's now the tenth anniversary, and each generation of the MOTIF has increased the quality.
Now, with this new, latest MOTIF XF, I think it's reached a very high level. It satisfies all of my keyboard needs. I don't need another keyboard for me.
So congratulations also to Yamaha technicians for producing such a great instrument and happy anniversary"."

"He has been working as a Yamaha demonstrator, a product demonstrator, for more than 10 years.
'All the major musicians worldwide were playing the MOTIF on stage, just because it had so many instantly usable sounds.
And you know, Yamaha rocks! We all know that! It has been 10 years now,
and I truly hope that we're going to keep working for another 10 years, so happy anniversary!'"
Chick's Mark V

"He was using Mark.V in his Elektric Band performances, and it always became difficult to keep it repaired. .
So he decided to sample the instrument, and that's when he came around to the process of actually sampling the Rhodes a couple of years ago.
So then right at that time, the new MOTIF with flash drive was produced.
And so the Yamaha engineers took the large file and make it fit comfortably in the flash drive.
When Chick tried it he was very happy to see that the sound is beautiful...
All of the effort that he put into making the sample was realized into the flash drive, and now a voice in the XF.
