MeeBlip & Coffee... MeeBlip Gets "Key Buy" Award

Reflex Audio
"The MeeBlip SE is the latest version of our wildly popular digital monosynth. This auction is for a fully assembled factory demo unit in excellent condition (used in-house to shoot videos, so we can't sell it as new). It includes the latest firmware and 9V DC power supply (USA/Canada).

MeeBlip SE received Keyboard Magazine's coveted Key Buy Award in the May 2012 issue. Reviewer Francis Preve wrote, "it’s the features you won’t find elsewhere that give this synth some serious digital cred: stuff like switchable anti-aliasing, digital distortion mode, and oscillator FM. Because of those features, the MeeBlip is capable of binary grime that dubstep and IDM producers will absolutely love." (Read the entire review on the Keyboard Magazine site).

For those of you who like gory technical details:

Virtual analog monosynth running on an Atmega32A microcontroller at 16 MHz
16 user-programmable patch memories
MIDI CC control of all patch parameters
Switchable waveform anti-aliasing (turn it off for added bass grunge)
New variable pulse width / PWM waveform
Dual digital oscillators with filter, LFO, ADSR envelope, FM (Frequency Modulation) and distortion
2-pole resonant low pass filter in software (with high-pass mode)
DDS (“Direct Digital Synthesizer“) oscillator waveforms (sawtooth / variable pulse / noise / triangle / PWM) at 39 kHz sample rate
Dual 8-bit weighted DAC audio output (approximates a 16-bit parallel DAC)
8 potentiometers for continuous input (bank shift function allows two parameters per pot)
16 software-defined parameter switches
4-pole active lowpass anti-aliasing filter
Opto-isolated MIDI input
9VDC power supply included"

Update: CDM who makes the MeeBlip with Reflex Audio has a new and pretty extensive post up on the Meeblip with audio demos.

"The display is missing some lines (which can appear back if contact cable is pressed on control board), but still othervice very readable and the board with backlights work fine. Great for replacement and parts/repair (also for MC-505)."

Lost weekend (Roland Juno60 demo) - Berlin school style

Lost weekend (Roland Juno60 demo) - Berlin school style by OctopusEmpire

"How I lost my weekend..
Picked up a bargain Roland Juno60 from a local school which was lying dusty and forgotten in a cupboard. I've been unable to leave it alone since I picked it up yesterday, I think this could be the start of a very long and happy relationship where many more weekends disappear.

Just a roughish Berlin school jam, 22 tracks of Juno. Absolutely everything you hear is from the Juno including all drums, percussion and FX. No midi on the Juno60, everything is hand played except the numerous arpeggios which are synced to Logic Pro using an audio out on my MOTU audio interface routing a kick drum to the sync in on the Juno.

Enjoy :)
