Circuit Abbey Impulse Drive Waveshaper Eurorack Module

"Harmonics galore! A wave multiplying signal processing module which produces thick CV-able harmonic fields.

The Impulse Drive crossfades any two input sources and drives three comparator engines that are then cross-modulated to create unheard of sonic palettes. Crossfading, along with each of the comparator engines are under full CV control for precise timbre navigation. Feed combinations of waves, control signals, or experimental sources such as drum machines into the Impulse Drive to generate swirling streams of alien landscapes!

You can crossfade between the two signal inputs manually or with a control voltage; the result will be then processed by three comparator units called GRID, each producing a pulse wave. The Bias parameter determines the switching threshold of the comparator and it can be set manually or with a voltage. Each GRID section modulates the next one thru a digital ring modulator and adds even more harmonics. The signals can be tapped at the various outputs.

The Impulse Drive has 3 sections of harmonic generation with CV control. Each section feeds into the next using Digital Ring Mod technology and produces increasingly complex harmonic fields.

The Impulse Drive can be run at LFO rates to produce gates at the outputs - allows for generating CV-able sequences.

Conceived and refined over a decade in the Circuit Abbey lab, the Impulse Drive will provide unique flavor to any studio.

Features

2 signal inputs (Injector)
1 Injector-Select CV input
3 CV inputs for the waveshaper units (Grid 1-3)
3 Outs
3 Exhaust Port Outs
MON output
Injector Select knob
Injector Level knob

"Fat analogue drum synthesizer with a wide range of sonic capabilities

The Vermona DRM1 MKIII is a true analog drum synthesizer, and it's worth pointing out to the unfamiliar that it has no onboard sequencer or patch memory: trigger it via MIDI and tweak all the sound controls in real time via its 72 knobs. Different drum types offer a different range of controls, from the FM parameters present on its three multipurpose DRUM channels to the onboard reverb and noise generator available to the SNARE and CLAP channels to the low-pass filter on the SNARE and the two CYMBAL channels.

Because it's true analog as opposed to being sample-based or virtual analog, it can be simultaneously less predictable and more unique than other current drum machines, and its analog foundation offers an arguably superior opportunity to emulate various 'classic' drum machine sounds—whether you're looking for 808 cowbells, 'laser toms' or deep, long-decay 808-esque kicks, the DRM1 MKIII has you covered.

Besides its master left/right 1/4" stereo outputs, the DRM1 MKIII also offers an individual output per channel which when used with a single 1/4" TRS to dual 1/4" TS cable can be used as a channel insert to apply external effects to individual channels and then feed the effected signal back to the main mix and outputs.

The DRM1 MKIII's MIDI implementation is fully user-configurable, too, so if you've got existing drum patterns built either in a hardware sequencer or on the piano roll in your DAW it's easy to reassign not just the channel on which the DRM1 MKIII receives its MIDI information but also which notes trigger which individual drum sounds.

The individual instruments of the DRM1 MKIII are as follows:

KICK: Mainly but not only for making big and fat kick drums.
DRUM1 and DRUM2: Very flexible instruments that can generate kick and tom sounds as well as bongos, anything from 'zap' to 'bling' and a fantastic 'pew.'
MULTI: Three oscillators can be detuned, giving you nice cowbell-like sounds. If you like submarines, you can create a nice sonar 'ping.'
SNARE: What can we say about that? You get what you expect!
HI HAT1 and HI HAT2: That's analog heavy or soft metal.
CLAP: Classic analog handclaps.
Features

Fully analog drum synthesizer
Limited edition Deluxe version has heavy-duty chrome knobs
Eight instruments, each with seven dedicated knobs for sound design
Individual volume and pan controls for each instrument
Clear and intuitive user interface: one knob, one function
Triggered via MIDI, fully velocity sensitive
CV Trigger Inputs per channel
In addition to main left and right mix outputs, each instrument has its own individual output that can also be used as a channel insert
Dedicated headphone output jack on the front face of the unit
Integrated power supply—no wall wart!
Rock-solid build quality
Rackmountable, 5U height
When used as a tabletop unit the top is tilted at a convenient angle"

Vermona FourMulator Quad LFO Eurorack Module

Perfect Circuit Audio (RSS)

"Versatile Quad LFO with awesome internal and external syncing capabilities.

The Vermona fourMulator is a digital quad-LFO module for eurorack compatible modular synthesizer and sound processing systems. Due to its ability to synchronize the modulators (LFOs) to each other or to an overall clock-reference, fourMulator is capable generating complex and rhythmic modulation structures.

Modulators (LFOs)

Each modulator offers six wave forms: ascending and descending saw tooth, square, triangle, sine and random (sample & hold) with a frequency range between 0.05Hz (20 seconds) to approximately 100Hz. Each modulator offers waveform and trigger outputs, the latter sending an impulse with every new start of the selected waveform. Reset and CV inputs allow external parameter manipulation from other modules or from other modulators of the fourMulator itself.

Synchronization

All four modulators work independently but can be synchronized with each other. Each modulator can be individually synchronized to the left neighboring module or to a clock reference.

Two or more synchronized modulators always oscillate at the same frequency. However, a synchronized modulator can be phase-shifted by up to 180° (a half-cycle) to the clock reference. This allows easy creation of counter-rotating modulations. More complex modulations can be achieved using the CV input to manipulate phase shift.

With active clock synchronization, the corresponding modulators oscillate in reference to a common clock signal, but use individual clock-dividing factors. Again, advanced possibilities result from being able to manipulate clock division through the modules' CV inputs.

Both forms of synchronization can be combined. With one modulator being synchronized to a clock signal, it may as well serve as reference to the right neighboring modulator.

CLOCK Generator (CLK)

fourMulator integrates an internal clock generator. Its tempo can be assigned using a tap-tempo-button or by using an external clock-reference.

Features

Four Modulators (LFOs)
LFOs can be synced to clock or to each other
Six waveforms: saw up, saw down, square, triangle, sine, random (sample & hold)
Frequency range from 0.05Hz to approximately 100Hz
Speed control acts as clock divider when synced to external clock
Each LFO has waveform and trigger outputs
Each LFO has reset and CV inputs"
