"This week's soundpack gives new meaning to the term "1-man-band". While electronic dance music is fun, sometimes you just want to rock out. Growing up on hardcore/metal music and even being in a few (signed/touring) bands myself, I've always thought, "This would be great to put on a controller and do yourself!" So, I present to you: 2 banks (32 samples) of deep, punchy drums, distorted guitars, powerful strings and roaring screams (provided by yours truly). Hope you have as much fun with this as I did. Enjoy! -Kyle

"80% of sounds - except drums - are made by Kinetik Laboratories Harsh Noise Generator, a little and powerful noise machine with strong character. HNG is processed in Ableton Live and a lot of plug-ins for sound processing and sound design."

"This analog-sourced audiovisual piece is a collaboration with video artist Chris LeBlanc. The visuals were performed with a Hi-8 camera running through Tachyons+ and LoFiFuture processors, then keyed with a Bleep Labs synth. On the music end I have a Moog Sub 37 running through a Minifooger Delay and synched up to an Elektron Analog Four.
