MFB Tanzbar Analog Drum Machine / Synth

"This is a fantastic drum machine, the best sounding one I've ever had. It's generally out of stock in the US. This one was obtained from Schneiders Laden in Germany. It shows no signs of wear/scratches and it's been used only in my smoke-free studio. I'm selling everything and this is the last one to go since I love it so much. It retails at $1,200. It came with a German power supply but I will include the US adapter.

Info:

mfb's tanzbãr drum-computer offers fourteen analogue percussion instruments as well as a synthesizer for bass- and melodic voices. its integrated step-sequencer allows flashlight-programming and storage of up to 144 patterns. all parameters can be recorded per step! because of its ability to control and call up all functions on the fly, while the unit is running, tanzbãr is ideally suited for live performances.

using the fill-function, patterns can be chained for longer sequences. in addition, every pattern offers a/b variations that can be switched manually or automatically for further flexibility. also, tanzbãr allows saving 16 flame and roll-variations.

the step-length is controllable per instrument, allowing easy creation of polyrhythmic structures. possible resolutions are 32th and 16th steps as well as 16th- and 8th triplet-steps. the shuffle amount can be continuously controlled globally and per instrument.

each instrument offers three accent intensities. add the bend-function to create glides and lfo-like sweeps for bass drum 1/2, snare drum and toms 2/3.

in addition to the percussion-instruments, tanzbãr offers addressing external instruments using its two cv/gate outputs; one being able to control dynamics via a third cv-output. the same tracks are routed to the internal bass- and melody-synthesizer voices. an ideal solution to pre-listen and program patterns without any need for external equipment.

the cv/gate-sequencer offers a range of three octaves and is programmable using two methods. all parameters are output via midi, allowing control of external instruments. the drum-computer can be synchronized via midi- and clock-signals.

finally, tanzbãr not only offers a master volume knob but individual level controls and mute-functions per instrument. the unit provides a stereo output as well as twelve individual outputs.

"Vintage Moog Opus III analog synthesizer keyboard recent service opus 3

great working condition. Recently serviced. The black foam has been removed and the controls function well. Please ask questions if any. Good cosmetic condition except for a previous repair to a crack in the left side top corner and a few noticeable scratches also on the left side. Otherwise, expect a few blemishes from normal use of a vintage instrument."

"This is the very rare red version of the Roland SH-101. It has a manufacture date of 1-13-1983. Fully functional. Since I live near Asheville, NC I was able to get it checked out by an engineer at Moog. He cleaned, checked all functions and calibrated it. He replaced the portamento pot, the bender lever and the ac input jack during the checkup. Cosmetically I give this synthesizer a "good" rating. There are dings and scuffs here and there (see pics) as can be expected from a 30+ year old keyboard. There are some imperfections on the outside of the bottom plate (see pics) but the inside has been refinished . The MGS-1 modulation grip and the original Roland ac adapter as pictured are included. I will also provide the Owner's manual and the Service manual PDFs on CD. The batteries are not included."

"For sale is a very lightly used Elysian Drum Scape synthesizer / Sound Generator, designed and built by Arius Blaze (Folktek). It is really a one of a kind piece of sound art that has a wide range of unique sonic possibilities. It has (4) oscillators, (5) 1/8" cv jacks, control knobs for delay and each of the oscillators, (4) brass keys to trigger the oscillators, (3) switches to change delay mode and (3) switches to change drum mode. Housed in a very nice looking oak casing. Runs off a standard 9V power supply which is included. Everything works great and it is good cosmetic condition. Asking $500, which is less than half of what I paid for it a few years ago. These are custom made and are not readily available. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for looking Here's some info from Folktek: The Elysian is capable of everything the other drum scapes are - with exactly the same oscillators and delay, but Voltage Control (1/8" CV) has been added to integrate into other analog systems/cv sequencers. Control over the oscillators as well as the delay time. The boxes are oak, 1/4" output jack, 5x 1/8" cv jacks, control over delay time (from extremely notated tight to about 1.5 seconds with near infinite repeat for loops), control over each of the oscillators with custom brass keys for each, 2 custom lamps glow warm white, custom switches for delay time and drum mode (3 modes). standard features: 5 keys (plays 4 osc) 5 trigger jacks (1/4") output 2 lamps osc. controls + volume delay controls = feedback mix time drum mode switch, delay time switch. Check out Folktek's website for sound samples, video and more info: folktek dot com... or search YouTube for 'Simian Drum Scape' to see a similar model in action"

"Beautiful vintage 1978 Italian monophonic syntehsizer. Good condition, had it serviced a couple of years ago.

Usual issues with vintage synths pots can get a little scratchy if it isn't used for a while but that clears up by twisting the knobs a few times.

The Synthetone SX-1000 is an old Italian basic mono-synth. It has a single analog DCO with three waveforms: sawtooth, square, and PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). There is an analog filter (12dB/octave) with cutoff, resonance, and LFO modulation. Two ADSR Envelopes one for Amp the other for Filter. In addition there are also white/pink noise generators a glide effect and a vibrato effect. It's known for fairly stable tuning too."

"Despite the plain-and-simple layout of the front panel, there's a surprising amount of capability crammed into this little thing. Take a look at the number of functions stacked on each button and you'll get an idea of how deep you can dive with a bit of patience and the manual handy. You're not just getting a nice wobbly analogue-modelling synth - it also does a pretty mean 606 and 808 drum machine impression, has a pattern sequencer and one of the most effective arpeggiators I've worked with. The effects are a bit pants (I love the bitcrusher though!), but run it through some external pedals or whatever and you can get some very angry noises out of it."
