"This here is a mode machines sid, a synthesizer for creating 8 bit chiptunes type sounds, has an imitation sid chip in it (that's the soundchip that the original c64's used), a 303 style sequencer, midi in/out. there's better sources of info on this than this description. it's basically new it's barely been used. comes with Australian power supply and a midi cable..."
"Vintage used Arp Axxe synthesizer from around 1980-82. Has been professionally restored to its full musical function. Keyboard is totally even and original. This unit is the little brother to the Arp Odyssey and quite rare to find in any working order. It has all its original switches and slider knobs which are color coded. The original power cord was replaced some years ago, now it has the three prong receptacle in the back which makes the cord detachable for better wear and tear. This unit has one oscillator with the conventional ADSR envelope generator. This unit is unique in its sounds that make it so attractive to people who love the 1970's-80's art-progressive rock period. At some point in its life an attractive wooden chasiy was added to its body which adds to its look and does not restrict obtaining access for internal repairs..."
"EB.TV #58 - 05.05.15
Electronic Beats TV presents a special Slices feature that presents the story behind R IS FOR ROLAND. Michal Matlak (aka Analog Roland Orchestra) served as the book’s central author, and alongside illustrator and photographer Tabita Hub he created an epic book dedicated to some of the classic Roland instruments that have played an integral role in shaping electronic music. Its collection of exclusive descriptions and photos, plus interviews and stories from the likes of Legowelt, Egyptian Lover, Jeff Mills, Mark Ernestus, Modeselektor, Lee Scratch Perry, Moby, Robert Hood, Mathew Jonson, make it clear that these machines can create emotional connections.
"Another improvisational demo utilizing the ARP's Duophonic ability, The oscillators are slightly detuned and I've added a bit of FM to VCO#1. This gives the oscillators that rich "phased out" sound, where the harmonic contents of each phase against each other. The Korg MS-20 Mini is pulling bass duties again. This time the SQ-1(acting as a master clock to the TR-707) GATE OUT is going to the MS trigger IN. The CV to the VCO's are manually being played via the keyboard for that 80's arpeggiator effect."
"The DinSync 303 brings a Roland TB-303 to your modular.
Other modules used include the I dream of Wires battery acid,
the Tabula Rasa, the Koma Elektronik vactrol SVF-201, the Klee sequencer, Model 15 Complex Voltage Controlled Oscillator & Maths.
Drums are from a Roland 808"
"Was the EMX arp. pad better? My most wanted 'Firmware Update' for the Electribe 2 ! ( We're critical because we love these machines, and want them run their best! ; - ) A 'roll' or 'beat repeat' would be great on the pads also. 'Step Jump' is great, but could be improved, and "Active Step" added... Much more discussion here - what do YOU think?"
Side note: parts A & B are not live yet but should follow in time.
"In this video, I introduce the new features added to Vectr in the 2.0 firmware release. The changes in firmware 2.0 are centered around improving Vectr's ability to synchronize recording, playback, and overdubbing with the rest of your modular system. I also made a number of improvements to Vectr's firmware which result in a better, snappier, and all around better experience.
These changes are all in addition to Vectr's existing feature set. Look back at some of my earlier videos for a complete rundown of the Vectr basics."
