"Mimetic Tuesday" — Eurorack Modular Jam

Published on Jun 7, 2017 Mattias Häggström Gerdt

"Just got the final modules for the performance rack! Turns out TINRS Tuesday and Noise Engineering's Mimetic Sequent are like the best of friends.

I recorded three variations from Tuesday into Mimetic's three slots and multed them to two synth voices. That means easily being able to switch between parts. Also added some Mimetic random to make it dissonant, and then overwrote with a fresh recording from Tuesday. Worked like a charm!

Also finally have two Basimilus Iteritas Alter, so one kan do kick duties and one can do whatever I feel like!

• TINRS Tuesday
• Noise Engineering Mimetic Sequent
• Malekko Varigate 8+

"The entire unit has recently been gone over and and it works great. The wood trim pieces have been refinished so they look as good as new.

Included with this:
- Original owner's manual (along with 5 copied programming sheets I copied from the manual)
- Module-to-pedal cord
- 2 power adapters
- Chrome mic stand bar
- 3 program template overlays
- Soft case for the module.

The Taurus II is a 1.5 octave pedal synthesizer with detachable electronics, full modulation, performance controls and total interface capability. Moog produced these for only two years (1981-1983) It’s a bass pedal synthesizer with essentially the same synth engine as the Rogue. It has saw tooth or square waveforms, which go low and their bass sounds are great.

The synthesizer features controls for modulation, oscillation, contour, filter, mixer and master volume. Controls for pitch, mod, tune and glide are on the far left side. There are several internal trimpots with access on the back of the unit. See photos for input/output jacks.

The floor controller includes a total of 18 pedals and input for the main synthesizer unit on the back."
