The Cheapest Drum Module
Published on Oct 7, 2017 Izhar Ashdot
"This is probably the cheapest drum module available.
It's based on an ATtiny85 chip, the code was written by Jan Ostman [of DSP Synthesizers] and it's open source.
All you have to do is build it!"

[LIVE] Borrowed Buchla + TR-606
[LIVE] Borrowed Buchla + TR-606 from Noise Jockey on Vimeo.
"Simple jam with a friend's Buchla 200 system, using only the Roland TR-606 drum machine to drive the Buchla 208r (LT trigger activates the 208r's Pulser, HT trigger "pings" the FM modulation index). Drone/bass voice from the Buchla 25S, modulated by the Buchla 281r, mixed with the 606 in the Buchla 207r. Despite all the other modules and cables pictured, no other components were used. No post-processing or mastering other than normalization to -0.3 dB."
Note the 208r is Roman Filippov's clone of the original Buchla Music Easel.

"Using here again only a Creature and a Gator M-Class panels (VC Timegen Clock).
Pingged VCFQ driven by VC Timegen Osc and SSG modules.
The VC Timegen Clock is not tracking correctly, but I let the video play without cutting, because I'm focusing here on the variations on the SSG, showing how a tiny variation on the SSG can change everything!
Oops… I forgot to deactivate the autofocus function!"
Rosendelle - Eurorack Modular Ambient
Published on Oct 6, 2017 Björn Bommersheim
"Onetake recording of an eurorack modular patch done with the Intention of reduction. I used my subrack for this patch only. Somehow it makes me feel free to get rid of all the countless possibilities in my main rack. I know this is what people call big-time whinging.
The patch really comes to life with the Uoki Toki Dual Polivoks VCF fitted between rings and clouds and the shimmer verb of Strymon's Blue Sky. I love to get lost in it!
Used Modules:
Befaco Midi Thing
Make Noise Maths
Frequency Central System X Filter
Ladik R 112
Doepfer 143-9
Mutable Instruments Peak
Mutable Instruments Rings
Mutable Instruments Clouds
Uoki Toki Dual Polivoks VCF
Qu Bit Chord
beside:
Strymon Blue Sky
EHX Memory Boy Deluxe
Elektron Octatrack feeding Befaco Midi Thing"
