Simplifying Complexity: Live Rig Breakdown, a show and tell by Suit & Tie Guy.

Learn the basics of Synth DIY and soldering with build workshops where you can build an EasyEi8ht Step Sequencer with Modular for the Masses, or a 2hp MiniAtt 2hp Utility module with Zlob Modular.

New this year is the Lecture Luncheon, an informal get together on Sunday afternoon where attendees can further interrogate any of our presenters about their ideas.

The soundset is universal, the basses are suitable for all genres of electronic music, including Techno, House, Trance, Lounge, Downtempo, Funk, Disco, Pop, Acid, Hardcore, IDM, Drum'n'Bass, Breaks, Breakbeat, Trap, Electro, Ambient, Dubstep, EDM, Synth-Pop and others.

The patches cover a great variety of bass tones: soft and aggressive, slow and punchy, deep and bright...

Patches' volume levels are set close to each other, you won't get sudden volume spikes or drops while switching the patches.

ModWheel is set for every patch. Some presets use Filter EG as the mod source, some use free or synced LFO. The octave selector is also saved in an optimal value.

"The SER-2020 is a monophonic semi-modular analog synthesizer with an formant filter section, designed to use as standalone synthesizer or in combination with Eurorack modules. Inspired by the Synton Syrinx added the flexibility of an MS-20. Its filter design features a combination of a 24dB/octave VC Low Pass Filter, and two independent Resonant VC Peak Filters for formant sound shaping. The sound is ranging from solid bass sounds to articulated formant sound effects. The touch ‘n bend Control together with the MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) capabilities makes the SER-2020 a dynamic controllable instrument. Flexible routing makes the SER-2020 a suitable synth for sound effects.
