The N1R is a 1U rackmount version of the Korg N1 and is part of the "N" series of synth romplers that includes the N5, N5EX, N264, N364, NS5R, and NX5R. They all have similar sound sets and capabilities, but ROM sizes and form factors vary."

Common or rare, this appears to be the first one featured on the site, unless you count this post. There was also a KORG N1 keyboard version, which hasn't been featured much either.

The NS5R was part of the "N series" of Korg synthesizers that included the N1, N1R, N5, N5EX, N264, N364, NS5R, and NX5R. They followed the "X series" in the mid to late 1990's and all had similar sound sets, but with varying capabilities and ROM sizes."

Hypno Sequence

"This composition was made using my MFOS modular. The sequence was made with the MFOS 16 step sequencer. The drums were added by hand playing my Korg N1 jazz kit. The lead utilizes stereo panning and sync effects. The effects were added during mix down with SONAR Home Studio 6."

It marches on for uncounted millennia. What it has seen it isn't telling, where it is headed we can only wait and see."
