"Spelled Moroco and not Morocco. This is a fantastic dual multimode filter with 4 LFOs and 2 envelope generators and midi control. It seems there may have only been 8 made. The photos show one of 2 units we have - this may or may not be the one we sell, but they are in the same condition (just about perfect). Fully tested and working great. Not sure how to put on a price on such a rare item. Price will definitely be negotiable if it doesn’t sell for a while, though if you miss this one, it’s likely you won’t find another anywhere cause they’re that rare."

There have only been four posts prior to this one mentioning the Moroco. There was a video which is unfortunately gone. You can however see the original announcement post with digital flyer there. Only one other was listed for sale.

- Two independent multimode filters (Oberheim style). Work also in parallel and serial configuration.
- Two LFOs per filter featuring triangle, saw up, saw down, square, s/h (1st LFO), red noise (2nd LFO) waveforms.
- One simple AD envelope generator per filter.
- One VCA per filter.
- Midi input controlling envelope generator trigger input.
- Various control inputs and outputs."

MacBeth Studio Systems Update

Remember this post on the new Moroco Synth? Looks like it has been officially announced on the website along with the M3X2:

"Hi All! It's been some while since I updated the website- I've basically been building up M5s and also working on two new prototypes! These being the long awaited M3X2 and a new varient of the moroco stereo filterbank- it's now the moroco stereo synthesizer! Within the next few days, I shall provide you with protoype pictures to let you all see what is happening..."
