Decided to quickly put together a synthwave styled track , based on Patch 100 from 3rd Wave - Dynamica Volume 1 - Patch Name 'SM Love the Wave'

Only spent a few hours on this tonight, so far from a completed masterpiece, mainly just to let folks see that inspiration or ideas CAN come from one patch that may inspire you, or trigger something that leads you to create something special!

To accompany the patch - I added a few other custom sounds, from

1 - OB6 filtered Sweep Pad on left (Patch O23 - SM Big Sky Me from Venture Vol.1)
2 - Take 5 - sizzle pad on right ( Patch D01 - SM Film Poly from Ethereal Vol.1)
3 - Prophet 6 - Synced Lead (Patch006 - SM Daft Sync from Divinity Vol.1 - )
4 - Prophet 6 - Main Lead (Patch048 - SM Smooth Lead - from Divinity Vol.1)
5 - UB-Xa Sub When Main Lead Comes in - (patch 58 - SM Reese Bass from Sonorous Vol.2)
6 - UDO Super-6 - Bell like arp (PatchB3 - SM Check That Pulse from Virtuality Vol.1)
7 - Drums are LM1

Excited to announce the release of Sonorous Volume.2 for the UB-Xa and what a great synth it is too. Full of the usual carefully programmed lush pads, keys, basses, leads, Strings and more.

I have had quite a few requests to make my banks smaller to allow people to buy the patches in stages, so Volume.1 is also just complete and live on the Site,

The entire of Vol.1 and Vol.2 are using UB-Xa Atrophy setting No 1 - Ue/XW so no need to change any settings. I supply my voice panning settings in the pack instructions, but that can be changed to suit the users taste :)"

I give credit to the composer of this piece, it was played by a gentleman called David Maemone on his OB6 through Strymon Big Sky.

I tried to recreate his beautiful sounding patch best I could with the UB-Xa, and ran it through Walrus Sloer Reverb.

In this Video, it is a little homage to Jim's OB-X8 Demo [previously posted here], the Fifth Swell Patch at the start of Jim's demo is stunning. I thought I would try and see if I could get a similar sound from the UB-Xa, and although it can't get it exactly, it's certainly quite close!

First Day with the UBXa and I am impressed, it's Fat! and very expressive.
The Poly aftertouch and 16 voices in this synth make it very much worth the money. it's early days but so far I am liking the sound!"

Many of these Patches have 1, 2, 3 or even 4 sounds per patch, and it is always worth hitting the Play button on the sequencer to see what surprises it may bring :)
