"The (V2) update is free for all existing owners of the (V1) release! Korg recently updated the Prologue OS to Version 2 which unfortunately played havoc with most of our patches when using a controller with aftertouch. The newly added midi aftertouch was assigned to the LFO depth by default and this managed to turn nearly every sound into an absolute mess. We just happen to love aftertouch here at Robust American Patches and we use it quite extensively in most everything we do. So, we couldn't let things stand like that. We went back and added usable aftertouch assignments to practically every patch in Volumes I and II. Then we changed a few things that bothered us with the original release. We also created brand new patch list files that put the old patch lists to shame. Finally, we added 5 extra patches for a grand total of 135! Many of the patches have been totally re-worked and no longer resemble their (V1) counterparts. This prompted us to include both versions of the patches with every purchase. We've been very busy creating all new demonstrations for the (V2) update and we've just added a short demo song with stems."

These sounds are meant to be played and programmed to be extremely expressive. You get 64 patches + 9 more for free. The Sub 37 has a special place in our little studio and in our hearts here at Robust HQ. It was the first modern synth we acquired during this analogue synth renaissance that we find ourselves in."

This is a "one synth" song produced with the Moog Sub 37 and our first bank of patches for this mean little mono/duo. (73 for the 37) Many happy hours spent with this amazing tone machine. I managed to get 15 different patches into this 2 minute song. Recorded and mixed in Nuendo via the Audient ASP-880. We ended up with 18 tracks as one patch was double tracked and another was used to create some 3 note chords.

This video only demonstrates 1 patch, "InstaSimmons" Korg. It's called InstaSimmons because the snare reminds me a little of the classic electronic drum brain by the Simmons folks. This is Part 2 for EDMDROP1 and only demonstrates 1 Patch. It's a lot to demonstrate though. It's a 3 piece drum kit. Kick, Snare and Hats. The kick drums play a pattern, created by combining the LFO and Arpeggiator, if you hold sustained notes. The hats and snares are doing 16ths via the other layer's LFO if you play sustained notes. The audio was recorded directly into Nuendo via the Audient ASP-880. The sounds in this series of videos are as raw as can be. No extra sweetening of any kind. And no talking.
