Smokey Quartz - First Puffs on the SOMA PIPE

Published on Jul 18, 2018 Smokey Quartz

"I just got SOMA lab’s PIPE vocal synth/effects processor magic thing. This is my first attempts at trying to play it, using four of the different algorithms."

Smokey Quartz - Smoking the SOMA PIPE 2

Published on Jul 20, 2018 Smokey Quart

"A four tracked improvisation with SOMA Laboratory’s new PIPE using 3 different algorithms and with Ashley Joy joining in."

P.S. This is one of those cases where you get some really cool effects if you play both videos at the same time.

Some additional info from Smoke Quartz:

"I just received SOMA Lab's PIPE vocal synth/processor/noise box thing this week. It's pretty fun. It's kinda like a contact mic and effects pedal setup condensed into one compact instrument. Great for noise and more experimental performances. You can also connect a non-contact mic to it and use it as an effects processor, which I've yet to do."
