You've seen Todd Barton's numerous videos featured here on MATRIXSYNTH. I am happy to announce he has a limited number of performances coming up in Rome, Berlin, Vienna, Seattle, and Stockton. If you are in the general area for any of the upcoming dates, you might not want to miss it. This is a rare opportunity to see a expert at his craft. Some dates will feature workshops and lectures.

"What I love about the Hordijk Rungler is its ability to focus on a set of constrained semi-chaotic patterns that bring life and breath to the patch. In this patch the Rungler is going to the -24db Filter for the percussive layer and also going to the Twinpeaks Filter for the S&H timbral shifts and drone. This is a self-generating patch I’m only, first fading in the percussive layer, then fading in the Twinpeaks layer. Love how the accent/rhythm patterns change so organically. "I've used this same patch for the previous two video explorations. I will conclude and pull this patch now and move on. These three videos are a tribute to Rob Hordijk's genius: the fact that, without changing patch cables and only adjusting knobs, I can get such diverse characters of self-playing patches! I don't find this kind of range and variety on my other synths."
