Pittsburgh Modular VILFO Synthesizer Module Influence Control Voltage Test

YouTube via amphonic — June 21, 2010 — "Here is a quick video showing the Voltage Influence in action. The VILFO on the left is sent to the volt/octave input of a dot com oscillator playing a triangle wave. A second VILFO (on the right) is routed to the "Influence Control Voltage" input of the VILFO on the left. Only the VILFO on the left is controlling the oscillator.

Sorry if that sounds confusing."

Sequencing with the CMOS Clock Divider and Two Pittsburgh Modular VILFO Modules

YouTube via amphonic
"Using the CMOS Clock Divider by DGTom with 2 Pittsburgh Modular VILFO Modules to create an awkward rhythm. The Pittsburgh Modular VILFOs are being influenced by Control Voltages from a Synthesizers.com Q106 OSC to create two sudderstepping LFOs that clock the CMOS Clock Divider. Very cool setup."

Pittsburgh Modular (Confluence PM01) Voltage Influenced LFO Video 1

YouTube via amphonic
"A brief example of the Pittsburgh Modular Confluence PM01 module being influenced by a second PM01. The Confluence PM01 module is influenced by control voltages in a very different way than a typical LFO. The PM01 in the center is being used to modulate a filter frequency. The output of the PM01 on the right is fed into the Influence Control Voltage input of the center PM01."

Faults

YouTube via amphonic
"Auto-Generated music using 44-Space Synthesizers.com modular, Roland Juno-106, Dave Smith Prophet '08, Boss DR-55, AM Radio, and a lot of stomp boxes. Audio and video were recorded live @ the Furnace and put together in iMovie. Over 60 1/4" guitar cables were used to create the music. The modular is driven by a CGS Psycho LFO and a Q119 Sequencer. The Juno-106 and Prophet '08 are played by a few patch cables jammed between the keys. Check out the blog at www.modularsounds.com."

Building a Synthesizers.com Modular

YouTube via amphonic
"I used the Synthesizers.com WebCam to create a time-lapse movie of the build. The modular being built is a complete Entry System with some additional modules to fill the cabinet. The music was created using the synthesizer in the movie. It was multi-tracked on my Mac using Cubase. Check out www.ModularSounds.com for more information on my synthesizers.com modular."
