Ricochet Overview
Ricochet Overview from Audio Damage on Vimeo.
"This is a run-through of the top-level features of Ricochet, the multi-tap delay plug-in. If you listen closely, you might hear some crows. Just sayin'."
serge euro modular sequence
YouTube via cray56
"serge euro modular sequence using Dual Transient Generator and the Dual Universal Slope Generator to clock the TKB"
Korg Kr-55 + SQ-10 + X-911
YouTube via Zolophile
"The KR-55 is sending audio output to trigger the X-911 and a trigger signal to clock the SQ-10. The SQ-10 is sending CV to the X-911. The X-911 is filtering the KR-55. The unaffected output of the KR-55 is panned to one channel."
Minimoog solo "Irish Ballad"
YouTube via gattobus
"Tonight I was doing experiments with my "new" old Moog Model D and... why not to make a video? ...So I played the first thing it crossed my mind... ...and this Irish style ballad came out...
Tech notes:
I used all the three oscillators, with the third OSC stuck on E to make a duophonic sound and just a little envelope on the filter."
The DoubleDeka Ultrasonic VCO
via frijitz in this electro-music.com thread.
"The DoubleDeka is my new VCO. From the forthcoming documentation:
'This unique VCO consists of an ultrasonic oscillator core followed by a parallel pair of waveform generators. Each waveform generator consists of a switched multi- ctave divider followed by circuitry to generate a 10-step waveform using a set of 10 slider potentiometers. Also included are a novel synchronization circuit with two different operating modes and a built-in "digital ring modulator" (DRM) for producing a wide variety of synchronized and anharmonic sounds. The oscillator core is highly stable (better than 20 ppm/K in the prototype) and features wide-range, accurate tracking (better than 0.05% over fifteen octaves). The variable waveform generator provides fine control over an enormous range of available timbers.'
PCBs have been tested and will be available -- along with kits and panels -- from bridechamber.com.
For now here are some demos:
demo01 -- switching through the octaves and then moving the sliders around.
demo02 -- with fixed waveforms, switching through all the combinations of the octave switches.
demo03 -- a patch with the two waves fed through two VCFs.
demo04 -- four waves from two units; raw sounds without filtering.
demo05 -- sweeps of a Tri VCO fed into the the sync input (two sync modes) and then into the RM input.
(Sheesh, they were in the correct order in the preview. Has anybody figured out how the ordering works?)"
