"A Unique Quad - NAND synth housed in a quality CRYSTAL clear hand held case
Technical
The synth has 4 independant audio oscillators, each one is patched to the next. Each oscillator is controlled by its own independant control on the side of the unit. The frequency range of each oscillator is very wide, and so a vast range of sound effects are easily created. In the design is a power filter across the supply, this gives a nice audio " glitch " when the push - button is released, as can be heard in the HD
The electronics are housed in a quality " CRYSTAL CLEAR " plastic case, and 3 Ultra-Brite LED's glow upon switch on. The LED colours are RED, WHITE and BLUE and they look really cool.
Since the case is clear, the LED's illuminate all the electronics inside the case, and this is great in dimly lit conditions Power is from a an external PP3 battery ( supplied ) and Power is actuated by a push button on the top of the unit.
Audio out is from a standard 1/4 " MONO jack socket on the side of the unit.
The synth is pocket sized and portable, and ideal for home , stage , and studio use, where that unique strange sci-fi sound effect is required.
When connected to a simple effects unit such as delay , etc. some truly wonderful effects are easily created."

RMI DK-20 Digital synthesizer
via this auction
"The DK-20 was introduced in the late 70's and took advantage of most advanced digital technology available at the time. The preset voices are great and have a late 70's early 80's digital/analog hybrid character to them. After you select your sound you can control the decay time, the curve, the final release then you can mix and modify the voice with a phaser and filters in the "Timbre" section of the control panel. The interface for doing this is unique and intuitive. The part I love most about the DK-20 is the sostenuto toe stud! It allows you to play a chord/note and sustain it indefinitely. After you have grabbed hold of those notes with the toe stud any other notes you play sustain as normal. The notes you sustain repeatedly cycle trough the phaser and filter section. You can get a real interesting cacophony going utilizing the phasers, filters, volume pedal, sustain pedal, separate outs, and the sostenuto toe stud."
