LepLoop Multi Cassa Drum Machine Demo #TTNM

Published on Apr 3, 2015 The Tuesday Night Machines

"Go to 2:45 for sound & rhythm demos. Listen on good speakers to hear the low end properly!

The LepLoop Multicassa is a tiny drum synth from Italy. It has three individually adjustable sounds, which are triggered by an internal clock divider sequencer, which can accept an external analog clock signal, like from a modular synthesizer. The Multi Cassa is also available as a Eurorack module."

"4ms QCD clocking Noise Engineering Numeric Repetitor . Also sending a gate into the reset input. Prime output to Tiptop 808BD, the following 3 outputs went to Snare, clap and hi hat.

4ms QPLFO also provides modulation to Numeric Repetitor inputs. these modulations are pulled a ways into the patch so you can hear the patterns w/o modulation.

audio damage FX sent from Make Noise Rosie. 4ms QCD also clocking Xoac Moskwa sequencer used to modulate the AD dubJr delay."

"00:06: The Nano Rand is being externally clocked by Ableton Live by routing the Mutable Instruments Yarns into the Nano Rand Clock In. When externally clocked rate adjusts the rhythmic probability of random gates which are being used to trigger envelopes in the Sputnik Quad Function and Trigger Source. The Random modulation output is the Nano Rand is being sent to the crossfade inputs on the Sputnik Four-Tap Delay/Dual Crossfader to mix between delay times. The random output is also multed out to control the envelope decay times.

00:41: Sequence Variation: The Random Output is modulating (envelope) gate length to create dynamics in a static sequence loop.

The Random output is multiplied and fed into a shuffling clock divider and then sent to the FM input of an oscillator.

The Random output is multiplied again and modulating the sequencer note CV."

By pressing a button, the visitor is selecting one of 18 names from the top charts of young perspective Russian artists, according to the Art Newspaper Russia.

Within several moments the program is requesting the Google search and returns the number of times this name was mentioned in the Internet.

A special algorhythm further transforms this number into a sound composition played through the speakers. Complexity and length of this composition depends on the number previously received

Thus the object is using other people’s fame as the input for creating electronic music.
