A-01 VS. SYSTEM-1m

Published on Aug 24, 2016 RolandChannel

"CV and GATE are two signals required to make a modular, or semi-modular, synthesizer play its patched sound. CV controls the pitch of the notes and GATE provides the AMP ENVELOPE with a trigger to shape the volume of the note.
In this video, the CV/GATE OUTPUT of the A-01 CONTROLLER+GENERATOR is connected to the SYSTEM-1m semi-modular synthesizer – giving the A-01 control over the synthesizer via the in-built sequencer or K-25m keyboard."

"***Roland System 100 Model 101 in near mint condition ***

This is one of my favourite synths. It was recently fully serviced and is in near mint condition, the only flaw being a tiny amount of worn enamel near the VCO and Ext Input sliders in the mixer section.

All keys, switches, pots and sliders function smoothly, freely and exactly as they should.

This is a 100-120V version, I am including a reliable step-down transformer with two 110V sockets for use in the UK/EU.

The System 100 Model 101 is widely regarded as one of the finest sounding monosynths ever made. Get your hands on this pristine and superb sounding example."
