"Cycling through the sounds and features of the acid8 by twisted electrons, a powerful and very original digital/analog hybrid 8bit acid synth. Super portable, great build quality.

It features a total of 16 waveforms, based on the four wave shapes:
0:00 Rectangle: Prophet, Distorted, SID, Perfect Rectangle
1:20 Triangle: NEW, Prophet, SID, 3-BIT Triangle
2:16 Sawtooth: Prophet, TB-303, SID, 3-BIT Saw
3:33 Sine: Pure, Overtone Sine, Acoustic Guitar, Piano

Functions include:
4:40 Bit flipping
5:32 Env mod to pitch
5:52 Swing

Fx demonstrated:
7:06 Arpeggiator
7:30 Pulse-width modulation
8:02 Crush:
- clockwise: sample rate reduction
- counter clockwise: bit depth reduction
8:26 Accent oscillator

Finishing with a little jam starting at 9:00 until the camera stops recording."

The bassdrum is made by a Machinedrum, it's synced with midi.

Audio is recorded on a Zoom H4N."

"The Twisted Electrons Acid8 MKII is a compact analog digital hybrid synthesizer that affords the ability to quickly program and chain patterns, making song creation both fun and remarkably expedient. Users can select from sixteen separate waveforms, four of which can be edited via the included software. Other features include an analog filter that is capable of self-oscillation at higher settings, bit crushing and sample rate reduction, envelope pitch modulation, pulse width modulation, and an internal arpeggiator. Acid8 is also equipped with MIDI and Sync IN/OUT, meaning it can be interfaced with a wide variety of external gear.
