look around you season 2 ep 1 -- synthesizer patel
Published on Jun 2, 2013 birdshapes·6 videos
"clip of synthesizer patel from the episode 'music 2000'."
Some of you might remember this one. The videos from the previous post appear to be gone, so I thought I'd put a new one up. Enjoy. BTW, the green synth reminds me of AtomoSynth!

Custom Wavetable - AudioTerm & Waldorf Blofeld

"Another wave table experiment. This time I take a voice sample and manipulate it into a wavetable. I have included annotations in the video so if you have not had much exposure to wavetables so you can understand whats going on. So I guess its half education , half fun , half experiment and half a tribute to the man that loved Synthesizers so much he changed his name to Synthesizer Patel! Oh wait... thats too many half's :D"

Tomorrow's World on sampling and MIDI with Midge Ure.MPG
Published on Mar 2, 2012 crgn
"From a very old VHS (1986/7?). The reasons I just had to upload it were: a) it has to be the inspiration for Look Around You's Synthesizer Patel; b) Midge Ure demonstrates the keytar by playing Stairway! There's a big jump in the middle as this is a cut-and-shut job."

Musechnologist: Synthesizer Patel

Ok, first of all this is not me. Second his favorite color is green, so we do have that in common. Third, check out the towel rack! All synths should have this! Fourth, I wonder if that "Mini-Trelm 'Green-key' 800" functional, because if it is, I want one. Title link takes you there.
