  2. yes indeed. He constantly is trading for "the synth he has been wanting for years" Some time ago he was even gathering material to make a website about his new found love: eml synths. A little bit later his eml gear was for sale...

  3. Well, if you must know the only reason I'm even looking to sell this is because I really only use it in mono mode and could get the same use out of one SEM or a Two Voice.

I love how people will sit and comment on how I might "flip" gear when the truth is why does anyone even care? If I purchase something and find I can get by with something different what does it matter to you? Second of all it's not like I can go to Guitar Center to try out a Four Voice...

Also, it's not like I am even a dealer. I don't aim to make a profit, and I actually USE my gear.

I sold my EML gear because a SYNTHI AKS came up for sale. And I've wanted a AKS since 1996 and as much as I liked the EML gear it was easier to replace that then to find another AKS for a really reasonable price.

I still would like to do an EML website too. But it was also proving difficult to find a lot of information and I only had the 100 and 400/401 to start from. Granted I probably could've done it, but I also work 8-5 every day and decided that the time I could be working on the EML site I could also be working on my music. And thats what I decided the priority should be.

I'm sorry if I seem upset, but it just pisses me off reading these comments, when you know I will most likely see them and all they are is comments that do not pertain to the subject.

I didn't even ASK to be blogged here. Matrix asked me if I would mind him posting it here and I of course said no. But seeing as everyone has a problem with me trading or selling my gear I will say no going forward.

  4. Don't worry Heath, two anonymous posters are not everybody.

  5. Think of the alternative. How often do these come up? If he kept them that's one less opportunity to pick one up. I think it's pretty cool that one, he's trying them out and two he's making them available for others. So far he has gotten nothing but good trader alerts, so think about that as well. I think he respects and takes care of these synths.

  6. I know where a sort-of working 8 voice with programmer is sitting in a closet under some stairs in Duval.

PS- do whatever you want Heath, It's your gear, your choice-not anybody elses.

  7. I agree that Heath seems to flip gear very quickly. However, I hate to say it, but as much as some people may hate Heath's behavior, Ryan Lunenfeld will always be a step below anyone who's got 1/2 a brain in their head. Heath, just admit you're a dealer and people will leave you alone... or hate you out of jealousy.

  8. Who is Ryan Lunenfeld?

  9. As I said before, I'm not a dealer. Nor would I want to be. I don't ask a lot for what I do sell, and quite often sell for less than I paid. What a great dealer I'd be.
