ReplyDeleteThese images were taken at Rogue Music in New York sometime in the 90's. The infamous Armen built them when he worked there. They were extremely expensive and didn't seem to sell. Three of them (106 sound, Source Sound and 1200 Sound) are racked up in his new shop located on the ground floor of the same building. They are no longer for sale, though. A different set of shots can be found here.
ReplyDeleteugh... why?
ReplyDeleteBecause it was the early 1990's. Grunge was all the rage, people thought Picard was cooler than Kirk, and everyone thought MIDI should be all about "tone modules."
ReplyDeleteWay to ruin some great gear!
ReplyDeleteArmen tried over and over again to sell that rack Juno-106 for some ridiculous price re-listing on ebay several times with no bids. Guess he gave up.
