ReplyDeleteI searched for just "Simmons SDS" and came up dry. Even Mark Glinsky's Manual Manor had nearly every SDS except for the 8. I tried the search again this time with "Simmons SDS 8" and it came up. If you need the V try the search with the V. If you don't find it, you can order it from Manual Manor.
It's kind of interesting that most of the pre-digital electronic drum companies skipped the cynbals and HH because I hear supposedly they couldn't make anything that sounded good and encouraged players to use the real thing. The SDSV has HH and cymbal modules but only as an option that few bought (note the blanking panels). I myself find it ironic that at least to me it's the most interesting sounds on the unit though I'm sure not exactly usable in every context.
