i'm just back from the Musicmesse in Frankfurt and tried it at the akai booth.
ReplyDeleteRetail should be 399 euros. important for me, it has the Mpc swing feature. The enclosure is plastic, but has a sturdy feel and some weight. Mod Wheel and Pitch bend felt good. Knobs and sliders ok. All elements can send on individual Midi channels and you have three banks for the slider /kinob section multiplying the control options.
399 Euro seems a bit steep... that's practically $800!
