  3. i've been very skeptical of nin my entire life.....then one day i saw they used some cool gear so i went to a show.....
    wow impressive live show!
plus they showed their distaste for Bush....
and everyone can agree with that!

...but otherwise i really hate their fanbase for the most part....ew!

  6. this track sounds like one of their early records. Its not that great a track...they do seem to push boundaries every now and then.... Downward Spiral was a production master piece, giving fans access to make their own versions of a song, leaving USB keys for fans to find etc.

  7. wow, okay. First and formost. I use to be a big nin fan. I will admit i'm liking these new tracks. But the last release...

    1. make sure you take tons of pictures of you recording studio with lots of modular synths, cicuit bent toys etc and post them on your website.

    2. make claims about how this album will be highly experimental, and unique.

    3. hire Richard Devine of all people to help produce (later we found out he was just there to set up protools or reaktor 5 whoopie doo)

    4. release a radio friendly pop/guitar rock album

    5. go on tour, and empty water bottles on expensive synths b/c you're rich and can afford to destroy the equipment.

sorry, maybe my expectations were too high. It was just a huge let down for all that build up to get a rock record. I understand the evil nature of the music industry as well, it was just a bait and switch kind of thing to me. at least now you can hear the electronic stuff this time.

  10. anon: re: Bush

Well, I think the real question is would you rather have Bush or Cthulhu?

At least Bush doesn't make your brains melt out of your ears (well, sort of).

    hmmm

  11. I just ordered my first Plan B modules a couple of days ago, and I can't wait until they get here. I also happen to be a huge NIN fan.

  12. doktor....obviously you would not ask such a question if you knew bush's real identity...

  13. I thought Bush is a reptoid from under the earth. Like Queen E.
