  1. What a silly photo with all those ms20s being patched. Everyone knows cats are colorblind.

  2. atlatl love your collection :-)

strange thing is cats feature heavily here .....do cats react to frequencies like dogs do?

I am not a cat person as I am allergic to them, but when I had a dog it use to move its head from side to side and dig the frequencies, so why no dog synth love?

  4. Wish I never sold the Stage Echo back in 2000, but at least we still have the cats.

  5. Yep, pets and kids with synths go up. It just happens the majority are cats. I started noticing this a couple of years ago when it seemed all pet shots with synths were cats. It became a running them on the site although other pets make an appearance now and then. Do a search for Charles for example.

  6. problem is that dogs require way more "walking" and attention which takes away from making music....cats on the other hand are much more independent

  7. feline habits make a difference too, i guess. can't remember seeing my dog climbing on shelves and keyboards just out of curiosity for the surroundings. most dogs are arguably clumsier too, so you'd have to be pretty stupid to have your siberian husky messing around with relatively fragile gear. even charles' contact with the gear is a lot more aloof and monitored as seen on the videos.

  9. I just reposted this photo over at CatSynth, and added my own two (or twenty) cents to the discussion:

To summarize, there is a CatSynth site, but to the best of my knowledge no DogSynth site ;)

  10. Cats, I detest them and I'm totally a synthgeek. I think a lot of synthgeeks are cat fans and gay, wonder if there's a connection?

And their bloody fur gets into delicate electronics, not good...
