More synths in Second Life.
"the drum machines are working now. the cr-78, cr-8000 and 808 play loops when you click on them. im still working on the scripting to get them to select patterns and stop/start. anyone know how to do that?

oh yeah, loading in sounds for the mellotron and prophet v(seen in this pic) are next. "

  2. Second Life looks so ugly. It's like, got a 'Windows' feel to everything. No aspect ratios seem correct, and the colors are all garish. It feels like the polygons are all stale crackers. You don't wanna lick it.

Second Life needs to be lickable. It needs to be a system that, when you look at it, you go 'f*ck that's bloody fantastic'.

  3. Doktor, a lot of it depends on how good your video card is. Ostara's one of my RL friends, and I know the video card he has is certainly not the best around, but for $50, it aint so bad either.

I have a really good video card in my computer and trust me, it looks vastly different.

Don't forget, all the content in SL is also user-created, so how things look are totally dependent on the skill of the builder. And there are some pretty amazing builds in SL.
