    How come most of the posts on this page have comments disabled? accident or social control device?

    I just noticed it this morning and fixed it. Annoying as hell. I think either Blogger has a bug or it's the new default, but if it is the new default that wouldn't explain why some posts do have comments. There is an option for comments when I create the post, but I never touch it because the default always has been to allow comments. I'll need to keep an eye on it. BTW, if you ever see a post with comments locked do what you just did and I'll look into it.
