kung-fu
YouTube via pre1204. Sent my way via Pete. Awesome. I always wondered what Hiromi sounded like. Click here for more videos.
Upate via Sonicbrat:
"Hi being a fan of Hiromi and having seen her live, she is highly versatile. This video doesn't doe her justice and they either revamped the song for the tv version or it was their earlier version. I am not sure ... but this is how Kung-fu sounded like in concert, a lot more intense :)"

probably the best ad for a nord lead i've seen!
ReplyDeletesuper happy show time synthesizer player woman!
ReplyDeletethis post needs a "synth babes" tag!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I forgot. Thanks! Post updated. Also added sonicbrat's bit.
ReplyDeleteShe's talented but that was corny. What's with the shot of her shoes?
ReplyDeleteMy reaction should be, "She is talented and stylish!"
MAN, if i had a 16th of her talent...
ReplyDeleteAnd imaging what would happen if she had a good sounding synth instead of that Nord. I'm going to look for thier album
If you live near Seattle, you can see Hiromi live tonight (Tuesday, 5/8/07) at the Jazz Alley for something like $20. I'm going!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletesuch skilled musicians but they have a tin ear for tone. Kind of a shame really... with the right sounds that composition could have come off a lot better, *to me* anyway. ;-)
