The auction says that the unit is untested by them because they "don''t have the proper batteries."
ReplyDeleteThat's got the be the worst synonym for "broken" I've heard in a long time.
Actually, the 350 uses some weird-ass giant batteries from way back. I got one and I had to convert the battery wires to a more conventionnal 9V, which works fine. Kid Koala did the same thing with his...all of them have to be coverted.
ReplyDeleteI have two of these, didn't have any problems finding the right batteries about 8 years ago, though haven't used one of them since (I bet the batteries are inside exploding acid everywhere as I type). Not sure if there is a mains power option. Pictures are on Flickr if you look.
