123synthland Big Vintage Synth Sale

Looks like 123synthland, aka minime123, is having another massive synth blowout sale. Too many shots for even me to grab, so I thought I'd just put up the link.

ARP Odyssey

Update: check out this KORG rk100, also part of the set.

  2. I think most prices are OK except for the real vintage Moog/ ARP/ SCI (analog) stuff. Anyhow there are always alternative sellers...and alternative gear :-)

  3. I've bought stuff from minime before, it is always as described and he has a tech go over it extensively before sale, that's what costs the premium. You may pay a lot, but you get no surprises and excellent packing.

  4. Just updated the post with the choice shot. I completely missed it.

  5. These prices don't suck at all. He sells quality stuff that's tested and serviced, so naturally he's going to want more than your average Ebay seller gets for his junk. I've seen almost everything he's listed sell higher and doubt it was as nice.

  6. I always feel a bit sad when I see gear I once bought used (but in mint condition) for $100 sell for ten times the price.

If I had been shrewd enough and kept it all, I wouldn't even have to get gigs to make a living.

    I could profit of collectors!

  7. You shouldn't be sad. Market values change. Inflation happens. The money you've got in your pocket today will be worth less in a few years. It's a fact of life.

  8. Guys, don't fool yourselves. These prices are way high. He's waiting for suckers.

  9. Actually the Taurus II, Source, and Odyssey aren't priced *too* awfully, assuming they're indeed perfectly serviced.

That is the rub, though. I'd comment further, but every time I say anything about this guy here, he sends me a barrage of annoying emails. Let's see what happens this time. :o\

  10. hmmm, let's see...

    $100 for a novation nova.
    $22 for a korg m1 ex.
    $300 for a juno-106.
$225 for the pimpest korg rk100 anyone's ever seen.
    $20 for a roland r8m.
    $300 for an emulator 3.
    $28 for a casio cz-101.
    $300 for a paia modular.
    etc...

    these are great prices.

he may be asking more than usual for the choice vintage stuff but when most of the crap on ebay's seriously fucked, you should expect to pay more for a serviced synth.

enough with the price bitching already. i can afford these prices. if you can't then you either need to be happy using softsynth cracks or go out and get a better job.

  11. Yeah, sure, "he's waiting for suckers". The same suckers you and all the other hypocrites will be waiting for when you sell your stuff.

These prices aren't all that bad when you think about them intelligently. Just take a look at what other dealers like au.s on Ebay aka Analog U.S. Inc. are asking. Ouch.

  12. Uhh, guys!!!

DON'T place a bid until the end of an auction. All it does is drive the price up. There's no advantage to having the highest bid on a piece of gear a week before the auction closes.

Bidding early and often just makes things more expensive for everyone.

  13. not always true. ive had bids on auctions lots of times with no last minute bids, and some sellers will end an auction and sell outside of ebay if they dont see bids on their items in the beginning. most times ive planned on placing a last minute bid ive forgotten and wish i bid early. bidding early will also show other bidders you're serious and not to mess with you.

  14. So after years of trying to move this crap for ridiculous prices this spamming dealer lists a few without a reserve. Desperation?

  15. His prices are inline with the market. Bitchen about auctions with mostly low starting prices is cheap and retarded

There are plenty of people pretending not to be dealers out there, at least minime isn't hiding how he makes his bread.

  16. "So after years of trying to move this crap for ridiculous prices this spamming dealer lists a few without a reserve. Desperation? "

This just shows how ignorant and obnoxious some people can be. In the last 2 years I've watched Minime sell several of the same item for his asking prices. Once something sells he puts another up for sale. So it may look to you like he never sells anything and is desperate, but that's untrue.

It is true though that a few of these auctions are relists but if you've been following them you'll notice the prices are lower.

I'll never understand how smart people find the time to just sit around and knock others when there's so many more positive things they can be doing with their time.

  17. OK guys, that's it. No more anonymous bashing. Any more will be deleted. The last few haven't added anything new.

The price they eventually sell for will speak for itself.

  18. i wish i had the money for the dx7 2 .... i really love those things and although this isn't a FM thread no one seems to start those anymore. I'm usually out of the loop anyways but is no one out there interested in Dx7's anymore??? i'm not even old or anything....old enough to remember. that obxa is nice too wish i hadn't sold the ones i used to own. everybosy keeps their vintage synths these days it seems.

    have a great night, guys

  19. I would like that synergy, but its just too much for it..

Also the price for a Non-mind oberheim sequencer is way too much.

The prove, hes not able to sell it,all a long time.

strange price balance some other gear has a good price like the source, then compared to a polisix that is too much..

    bizar.

  20. There's a DX7II for sale from analogehaven, about half the price and none of the bullshit.
