  5. You're not alone - the cat + synth thing has been (over)done to death.

  6. I would like to listen to some music from sushiluv sometime. very nice gear and his pictures show good taste, imo.

  7. I don't think the catsynth pics are being done on purpose like the banjo jokes, so there really isn't anything being "overdone." People just have pets and sometimes like to take pictures of them. I get a kick out of the pictures because I know what pets can mean to people and I know what they mean to me. I have to put my cat JD down tomorrow due to a bad liver. It sucks. Anyone that has had a pet they care about knows they are usually very, very cool companions. I'm going to miss JD coming in to say hi when I play my synths.

Because of that I never get tired of these shots. They are a glimpse of some of the companions we share. A glimpse to the other things we care about. BTW, I don't discriminate against other animals, cats just seem to pop up in synth pics more than any other animal out there.

  8. Well, I for one agree that the whole cat/synth thing has been done to death and is just getting annoying at this point

  9. I love synths and I love cats so I'm quite happy that sites like matrixcat continue to post pictures of the two together.

  14. Never too many cat synth pics! My cat Miles has been 'helping' me compose music for the last 14 years.

Sorry to hear about JD, Matrix. That's rough.

  15. Really sad new, Matrix :-((( For the last 10 years, the only tears I had were for that reason. I live with 7 cats in my house, and I love all animals (that's the reason why I'm vegan). But cats with synth are much more nicer than a cow on a synth ;-)
I enjoy your pictures very much.

  19. oh, I am so sorry to hear about JD. :(
I did not read the comments for this post earlier, or I would have offered my sympathy sooner.

JD was one of first cats featured when I started my site a year ago. I'd like to remember him on Thursday when we do our anniversary.
