"Here I am demoing the two x0xb0xes I built, #117 (my personal one) and #329 (for a customer). This isn't intended to be a real song, just a demo of the two of them together. Equipment used: 2 x0xb0xes, Korg ER-1 Sequencing my Novation Drumstation, Alesis Ineko, Ibanez SM7 Distortion Pedal, Behringer UB1622FX-PRO Mixer."

nice demo, I do an ER-1 pushing a Drumstation too, I like to cross mix them and run the mix into an Alesis Bitrman for that extra crunch...thanks for puttin this one up
ReplyDeletenice work, october!
ReplyDeleteI love the super-clean silvery appeal. Keep up the craftsmanship.

PS) my new secret weapon for x0x is an EH Tube Zipper... *insane* valve distortion and resonant envelope filter - makes filthy nasty acid! >:)
that was cool. Reminds me of hardfloor's numerous 303 layers.
ReplyDeletematrix, shouldn't this be tagged "synth babes"?
Thanks guys! Please keep giving me all your secrets for adding that nice buzz & crunch to the 303. I'm usually on the lookout for something new to run the x0x through.
ReplyDeleteBrian, the ER-1 and Drumstation's a nice combo, isn't it? I also have my ES-1's notes set up to sequence the Drumstation as well, with the bonus of being able to play a couple more notes than the ER-1 as well as the ability to do rolls. I had to get a midi filter though, because you can't make the ES-1 *not* send out program changes. Every time I'd switch the program on the ES-1 it would change my drum kit on the Drumstation =P
And Adam, I don't consider myself a babe, but yes I'm a woman. ;-)
most of the synth babe posts i'm glad are just pics so i don't have to hear them. i like this track. you and lady ada are synth babes. deal with it.
ReplyDeleteNoooo! I can't handle the demands and pressure of the title of "Synth Babe"!!! ;-)
