Well let me tell you, I used to own a Terratec EWS64 soundcard. I know there were many people who used this card, but it just never seemed to work in my system. As Teeretec's presence in the USA was just starting, their customer service was horrible. I wanted to buy this unit so very badly, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I had such a bad experience with this card that to this day, if I see the Terratec name, I run in the other direction. YMMV
