Funny thing I've been cleaning out my studio and I'm a real magazine freak. It just so happens that I brought this mag home as of late. I noticed it right away in that Seinfeld pic.

And to confirm that was a Alesis HR-16 on the back cover. I love the quote. "100% REAL. It's true. Nothing sounds like the Alesis HR-16 Digital Drum Machine. Except real drums.

Don't know if you'll see this but I'm trying to get to the bottom of this magazine mystery. The May 1989 issue I found doesn't have Dave Grusin on the cover. Also, when looking for a Dave Grusin issue I can't find anything!
DeleteDo you happen to remember if there are differences between countries or something like that? That's the only thing I can think of. Any other info?!
