  5. Funny thing I've been cleaning out my studio and I'm a real magazine freak. It just so happens that I brought this mag home as of late. I noticed it right away in that Seinfeld pic.

The mag is called "Music Technology" May 1989.

Who is that on the cover you ask?

    Its Dave Grusin!
Other articles on the cover are:
    -Yello "Oh Yeaahh!

    Reviews on:
    - Roland R8
    - 360 Systems "Audio Matrix 16"
    - Voyetra Sequencer Plus/C1

And to confirm that was a Alesis HR-16 on the back cover. I love the quote. "100% REAL. It's true. Nothing sounds like the Alesis HR-16 Digital Drum Machine. Except real drums.

    Ahhhhhh.....I remember those daze.....

    1. Don't know if you'll see this but I'm trying to get to the bottom of this magazine mystery. The May 1989 issue I found doesn't have Dave Grusin on the cover. Also, when looking for a Dave Grusin issue I can't find anything!

Do you happen to remember if there are differences between countries or something like that? That's the only thing I can think of. Any other info?!
