NAMM 2008 - Big City Music - Metasonix F@#%ing F@#%er amp 2!

"Metasonix designer, Eric Barbour, has never been known for subtlety. His new amp usually gets some kind of reaction. Dan Levey (REwire) plays through it in this video."

  1. And this is why I never, ever go to Guitar Center.

  2. It would have been nice to hear what this amp can really do that sets it apart from the competition and makes it worth the 5k cost. However, in this video it's virtually identical sounding or worse than the cheapest budget amp on the market. Try again???

  3. Eric should have been tweaking this thing while I was playing. What I heard before the recording was pretty weird while he was dialing in settings. You're right, the setting he left it on was pretty straight forward like most other amps. Also, YouTube does no justice the the force of power I felt facing that thing.

  6. This has been removed from YouTube at my request. A) It did not show anything unique about the amp and B) I sucked! I can shred way better than that, just not that morning ;)
