iPhone and Modul8 for realtime Video control - nortec vj set

YouTube via pepemogt. The iPhone has a built in accelerometer that allows it to detect and transmit motion. Check out the use of it about halfway into the video. For those that do not want to hack your iPhone to get custom apps like this, good news if you haven't heard it: the SDK is coming in June and will open it up to 3rd party delopers.

  2. Just to let anyone else interested know, he is using a program called i3L (i thrill) which I believe is written in Max, and just is a middle man between the aka.iphone object and the user, allowing you to specify midi CC#'s and channels for every control available in aka.iphone, as well as scaling those midi values.

I am experimenting with this, and also working on an object for use in the ChucK programming environment...
