  4. As noted in a comment on the youtube page, I'm not going to release details of the mod until I can ensure adequate over voltage protection. I don't want people blaming me for blowing up their priceless pedals.

    In reality, and competent tech can look at the Alesis circuit and quickly (less than 5 minutes) figure out how to accomplish this. And if they can't, I'd question their ability to do the mod.

  7. Vactrols are a hack unless you're using them for their particular characteristics. The ModFX line uses a 8051 derived microprocessor and scans the pots with straight CV. This mod isn't rocket science.

  8. No more posts here..? I just put the ModFX on the shelf.. if you can tell me how you did the mod, Ill tak it down again... Whe you said "its not rocket science" did you mean that your CV cable just goes straight to the pot swiper and ground???
