The heart of the instrument is a bank of magnetic audio tapes. Each tape has approximately eight seconds of playing time. Playback heads (underneath each key) enable the playing of pre-recorded sounds."

    sweet..looks just like what i wantr to do to a rev2 propheti have thats missing the keyboard.

    that guy needs to buy a set of bushings for his minimoog...

    I love the photo, and the rest of his flickr collection is amazing.

    After all that, it's not really fair to nitpick when his content isn't all synth stuff, but ...

    It's not Mellowtron, it's Mellotron. But I think Mellowtron fits the photo.
