Yes, one of the few red WAVEs.
ReplyDeleteBut the german comment is very off the real facts here: it was NOT costing 10,000 DEM then. A normal 61 keys WAVE in the normal colour scheme was about 16,000 DEM then (incl. german VAT). But a 76 keys version and the custom colour added much to the price you had to pay. And it does NOT only sound like a microWave. It does sound different due to better analog parts and a different filter schematics (although using the same CEM as the later MicroWaves.
And you could not only load new wavetables, but you could create new wvaetables from within the WAVE by means of resynthesis, additive techniques and two OP FM.
